But i wanted to use this on the edges of a brick hearth and it didnt work well for that

The tape provided with the kit didnt stick to brick at all so we tried a variety of tapes including super sticky carpet tape

It would hold the corner pieces but the coil long pieces held the coil curve strongly enough so they would pop off the brick edge

Even tried a hairdryer to see if heat would soften the coil curve
