This is a fun gift for anyone who loves to sip whiskey. It makes a perfect wedge of ice that when you pour your favorite whisky over it chills the spirit without watering it down. I recommend leaving the water line even a tad lower than it suggests.

The concept is fun and ingenious, however i hurt myself (the glass cut my hand in two places when it broke) and it took a while to track down all the minuscule glass shards. It's an impractical novelty, and i wouldn't recommend it.

Ice melts much quicker than a regular blocked cube, breaks off and then mixes with the bourbon. Completely waters down the bourbon, which is a thumbs down in my house. Bought two ice melts too fast.
