Pros

Solid metal construction gives it some heft. Sturdy metal construction, very low profile, and easy to install. Easy to mount.

Video quality on this camera is excellent. Night viewing is amazing even though it's technically not a night vision camera. Resolution is every bit as good as the factory backup camera.

Lens is clear with no cloudiness or water damage. Great definition in daylight and good clarity at night. Image quality in low light is great especially since infrared-night vision is not a listed feature.

This camera is a very secure unlike many other cameras sold this one secures with a 14mm nut and once secured it will not move. The wiring is very clever and easy to route. For the diy'er the directions are slightly vague.

Connected the rca cords and the camera cord. Red & black wire from that rca need to tap to the reverse light and ground. The video cable has a red lead that's attached.

Cons

The camera only gives a clear picture at dusk. Falsely advertised at 170 degree and 0. It does not. The wire with the small connector is too short to go through the rubber fitting at the hatch.
