In fact all contact points with the work surface will be rubber.
Packaging/appearance
It would've been nice if a cloth carrying bag had been included, but you can just use some of the original packaging from the box.
Competitiveness
No lame rgb junk, quieter than most pc cases.
More expensive than similar coolers with more options.
I was experiencing poor speeds and constant disconnects with tmobile 5g home internet.
I've tested it with both a 13 and 15-inch laptop.

I'm using it on a massive alienware x17 laptop, which does fit on it properly.

It's incredibly easy to pop this open the wrong way (small end up instead of outside edge up) and it's not very intuitive to figure out that you've even made that mistake until you try to put it back together and find that the rubber covers are keeping you from laying it flat.

It really needs some metal tabs that nest flat and keep you from accidentally flipping it the wrong way around, because i loaned it to a friend and he made the exact same mistake.

Once you have it figured out it's not hard to remember to do it the right way, but it's an absolute pain to fix it if you screw it up.
