I know that the second system i used it in was to cool a 6700k which it handled fantastically. My i5 6500 rips right along at about 35-40°c. It includes a mounting bracket for amd ryzen processors and a separate bracket for intel processors.

Cooler master hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. Had to remove an aging, overkill liquid cooling system to fit an rtx 3080 into the case.
If you want a budget great cpu cooler without the hassle of adding liquid to the case this is one of the best choices. If you don't want to go with an aio or custom loop water cooler, it is near impossible to find a better cooler than this legend.
Cons

Supposed to run around 90ºc under gaming loads but thanks to this and some thermal grizzly paste i stay under 60ºf under load
