My led monitors only have hdmi connections and they wont accept any signal below 1080p

It was midly more expensive than other similar looking ones but i figured if cool digital is willing to put their logo on the device then they are going to be more likely to stand behind their product should something ever go wrong

The video quality is good when i used it to convert hdmi for my dvd device

I had to play with different configurations on converter to get video and sound to work when playing vcr tapes

My vcr does not have s video so i had to connect video out on vcr to cvbs on converter

Then audio out on vcr to audio l on converter and audio in on vcr to audio r on converter

The only down side of this product is if i leave it connected it interferes with tv picture quality so when not in use i must disconnect the power source and hdmi cable
