I got this for my husband since he loves all the new tech gadgets available. This meter has many applications and Coocheer really kept the needs of the user in mind when they designed it.The product itself is no bigger than a standard television remote control and weighs about the same. It's easy to use, lightweight and comes with a carrying case so you can attach it to your belt or use the lanyard and keep it around your wrist. In addition to giving you distance, you can also calculate area, for instance, the size of a carpet or drywall. Not only that, but by pressing a button and the device will calculate volume as well. This came in handy when my husband measured the area where we are planting our vegetable garden this year. He was able to calculate the volume (cubic yards) for the topsoil we needed.Overall, my husband & I really like this useful, lightweight and easy to use high tech laser meter. It's a great tool for homeowners and contractors alike. Please note that I did receive a complimentary Laser Meter for the purposes of product testing and providing my honest and unbiased review based on that testing. So far, the hubby loves it and it has come in quite handy as my husband does do a lot of outdoor work.
