Pros

Tires have outstanding grip in dry conditions and good grip in wet conditions. Rode on a 50/50 gravel-tarmac course. I typically inflate to 105-110 psi.

The only knock i've ever had on the gp4000 or gp5000 is a tight fit and stiff bead. A really terrific performance tire. Will be purchasing again. And another set of continental 5k gp to go on them.

Cons

Biggest issue seems to be the sidewall. The area where the tire popped is by the rim, not the tread. Broke two tire levers in the process.

These are the most puncture prone tires i've ever ridden. Sealant is useless with a tear this big. Went to tubeless for the reduced air pressure and comfort, and going back to clinchers.

These continental grand prix 5000 tires 700cx32 replaced a set of the same tire

By comparison gatorskins are freaking impossible to install on my wheels

My other bikes are stored right next to this one and their continental gatorskins and michelin tires did not exhibit any of this issue
