Are sturdy, but do try not to drop from any height onto a hard and/or jagged-surface, they are not indestructable.

You notice if after a few minutes or say half an hour if you pop open spout to get a drink the pressure slightly makes a noise like it's letting air out(it's leak proof after all) and you can feel the heat coming out.

Don't put ya fave red hot drink in and expect to get down road supping it like you would a cheap non leak proof travel mug.
