However i had to return it because the female end was the exactly opposite of what i needed the l prong needed to be on the other side

It doesnt trip the breaker it can over heat your wiring in the wall and start a fire

In a pinch when we move equipment and servers that have a 20 amp cictuit installed but do not have the nema 20a style outlet this saves or bacon not to mentoin the saved by not having an electrician rewire that outlet
