Instead of a longtransfer of files to a flash drive probably have to do it several times since there wont be enough room on the flash drive and then another long transfer to the new computer you can just pull the hard drive out of the old computer pop it into this device and upload any files you want to the new computer

It also includes the power supply because this device must be plugged in to an electrical outlet to work

I dont claim to give this device credit for fixing my once busted drive but the important thing is that it is high enough quality to properly power a drive and get it running when the drive itself is just barely working
