    It was perkins's job to go in to countries like panama, indonesia, venezuala, iraq, iran, colombia, saudia arabia and indonesia and corrupt their national leadership with bribes in return for plying their industries with american know-how they couldn't afford to repay.

    However, i found the claim of the author that the nsa was involved in his recruiting hard to believe.
