On this conair product made in china the iron part looks and feels exactly the same but the cord is black rather than white and not as heavy without the swivel at base

There is no onoff switchsetting so be careful where you leave it when you unplug it so that little ones cant get to it

The only reason it didnt receive 5 starts is that it doesnt have a hook to hang it up with

It works fine but with a push button type to open the curling iron there is no way to hang it
