I purchased this in July, 2016, knowing that I needed it, but did not start using it regularly until December, because I went to the dentist and he was amazed at how badly things were since the previous check up.I don't have the money for all the dental work I need, thousands of dollars, and there is no dental insurance that will cover that expense. So I am really relying on this until then, also to steer me away from having to use lots of anti-biotics and pain killers until I can get my teeth fixed.Two years ago I tried to floss and my gums would bleed and hurt for two days, that it was painful to eat until the third day. It was miserable so I stopped flossing and stopped brushing.Then I used this every day after the dentist commented on my mouth, flossing after applying the powder, and I found that my gums do bleed, but only a little and there is no pain afterwards. So I can use this and floss every day and immediately my mouth feels better: clean, refreshed, energized and ready to eat without any pain. Immediate benefits.A prior dentist told me that if I could suffer with the pain for a week and floss twice a day, it would remove all the bacteria and the pain would go away. But I could never manage more than 2-3 days of flossing because I won't use painkillers - they make me weird and give me depression.Also before using this product, I would need to take an anti-biotic every few months, along with two prescription painkillers because of reoccurring infections I don't have the money to fix. I have not yet any toothpain at all while using this product regularly. I know I still need to get all that expensive work done (a crown or filling has also come off), but this is giving me the time I need and probably healing some issues.I try to use this product daily, because my teeth and gums are in pretty bad shape, but some times I will miss one or two days in a row. And it still is giving me great benefits.I take my time when doing the massage oil, I think I spend about 15 minutes on the first part. I massage all my gum with it (using a flexible clear plastic finger brush sold for cats, dogs or infants online) and it tastes and feels very good.I have also tried doing plain coconut oil pulling and it is so disgusting I could never handle it. The oil pulling product in this kit tastes really good to me and does not become nearly as disgusting as plain organic coconut oil does after several minutes. This oil pulling product seems to be the part that really heals those bleeding painful gums.This is the first product of its kind that I have tried (other than plain organic coconut oil). Before I was using floride free toothpaste (Tom's of Maine).I have also found that I have not had chapped lips while I use this product, If I don't use it for several days, my lips start drying and cracking. It will also heal chapped lips. That is because two of these products are oils and I give the oils a long time to work on my mouth, at least 10 mintues, Some of it spreads to my lips.
