    The hole that the receiver sits in is quite small and the ir receiver bulb is recessed and wasnt perfectly center so the ir only worked if you had it lined up just right

    I just popped the top off and made the hole bigger and now you can trigger the ir from any reasonable angle

    Works just as it was meant to be you have to locate the ir sensor on the equipment you want to control in order for it to work thats were you place the repeater ir eye
