Ive been using comica mics for a while now and i needed another one to combine with my a7rii as a third
I think it sounds a lot clearer than the iphone microphone for voice and certainly is higher gain than sonys built in microphones
Its brilliant that it can switch between phone and video mode even when it is using one trrs cable

I use action camera a lot and most of the time the audio feed is unusable due to the rubbish internal mic it pick up all the background noise and also wind noise etc

Of course it drains a bit of your battery but there is the choice the other microphone they have which is the same but itself is battery operated so does not drain your camera battery
