The only tool you need is an allen wrench that comes with the futon maybe a hammer to get some wooden plugs set but thats all

At first there was an error in the delivery

It appears that there is nothing to stop the zipper from separating itself so ive occasionally had to unzip then rezip the case since its separating from the back end
