Pros & Cons
Pros
Is it the least expensive? Are we confident this will outlast all the rest? This products best feature imho is its easy fill process. Well thought out design, tough construction, a+ ease of use.
Cons
Cole & mason brand is a premium-priced brand with mediocre quality. This is not a premium product if you are looking for a very robust, all around well designed product.
The course grind allows the peppercorns to fall through virtually untouched. It's almost as if the grinder mechanism is clogged or dulled. The finest setting of this grinder is over double butcher's grind, it is too coarse.

That being said i have probably a halfdozen pepper mills in my kitchen right now in addition to 34 pepper shakers that you simply fill with that hideous underflavored and ridiculously expensive ground pepper because one of us here loves coarselyground pepper and one of us only eats finelyground pepper
