Only two drawbacks have come to light so far 1 the dvd player arrived with an faq glued to the top of the machine which i removed with difficulty id have preferred a removable sticker 2 occasionally i have problems accessing special features not sure if this is a problem with the machine or me

Before being sold to the customers in north america all dvd players have to be programmed to play only region 1 dvds
