Light shining through it from either side is an added, unexpected design feature. The awning only blocks the sun partially, but with it and the screen, it does the job and the sun is not as hot. Works great for business zoom calls.
Child therapist uses screen as a divider in her office. Screen is large enough to serve as a good room divider. Well made and serves the purpose of separating my office space from my living space.
Cons
This screen divider has a strong bad odor that is intolerable. The crossbars are only on one side of the long, one piece fabric-y panels. It's crooked because it doesn't touch the floor at the folds.
