I connected the club dogle between my macbook air thunderbolt port and the other to high speed 50ft long hdmi cable that ended at a hd magnavox hd tv and it worked fine but when i connected the hdmi cable to samsung plasma tv the samsung tv reported the hdmi signal was too weak

I really think the club dogle should put out a signal strength similar to the output of a hdmi 2

Previously with another mini display port to hdmi adapter i would only get fhd resolutions 60 hz and ran into the infamous bandwidth exceeded intel specific message when i tried to add the uhd resolutions as custom resolution

Tv settingslike others have noted in their reviews i did have to enable uhd on my tv settings and use the hdmi1 input setting the type as pc to configure the tv correctly

Laptop settingsi had to create a custom resolution using my intel graphics driver in order to make the whole thing work
