My boat motor has a phantom battery drain, so i have to disconnect the battery or it will be drained in two or three days.

I mounted it so the contacts are to the inside of the firewall and the switch is on the inside.

No problems, have been using one for a battery isolator and one for a solar system isolator, for six months.
