So far the product is ok. My only complaint was lack of direction on written instruction ie using tape to separate wrap from the product. Had to see the use tape on either side of film on Amazon not the directions on package. Frustrating. Otherwise easy to apply.  Read Less

Just installing the film today...half done. I see reviews saying it is difficult to install.....that is not our experience today. You just need a little planning. Takes two people. Clean your windows, cut your film to fit each window (leave about 1/4” on sides), put small scotch tape tabs on each side at the corners to help separate window film from the protective film. You want a double tab on one corner (think screen saver for IPad). Be sure to fold back a tiny section on each end of tape so you have something to pull with). Spray window with lightly soapy water, one person hold sheet while second person peels off the protective sheet and tosses it. While person #1 hold window film, person #2 lightly sprays NON-sticky side of film....helps with smoothing out the water bubbles. The two of you place on window. Since window and film are wet, it is easy to get it straight. You can peel it off window and reposition as necessary. Once in place, use something to smooth out the bubbles. We are using a plastic 6”-7” putty knife/joint compound knife as a squeegee. Smooth the bubbles/water to all four side, wipe as needed. And you are done. We live is a historic home with the original window glass (not safety glass), that is very brittle and splinters really bad if broken. Right now we have two tropical storms/hurricanes headed our way and are putting the film on the glass so that should a window break, it won’t shatter everywhere.
