The touch display and the ability for it to recognize the pan size shape location is really neat but the display is very slow relative to old school knobs

The benefit is easy clean up but the display which looks and acts like a smartphone display does not lend itself to quick action

A simple software change could fix this so you could just hit a value rather than swiping but it wont be as cool

Also on first power up after not using it for a while say hours the system has to boot meaning you turn it on and have to wait for the thermadore logo to come and go before you can get a pan going

This doesnt sound like much until you use it and realize that you can not toss a pan on for preheat turn a knob and walk away you have to press wait press swipe

One other software fix id like on many of the induction pans we have the bottom has a flat spot that has compatible materials in it but the sides of the pan do not

I am not sure if this is the cause but in any case sometimes when cooking something like an omelet where you need to tilt and turn the pan to slosh the ingredients around if you keep the pan at an angle too long the stove seems to recognize the pan as being incompatible
