After putting the two parts together lowering the back rest onto guide rails in the rear of the lower seat then its just a matter of plugging in the colour coded wires for the remote which are situated at the rear lower part of the back rest

Footrest is fairly hard to close down as other reviewers have mentioned

The only problem is certainly with the delivery company not only did they not turn up on the day they said when rearranged they arrived 2 hours over the scheduled time
