All are arranged in well harmonized, hymnnal-style satb layout. All songs have piano accompaniment and most can be sung in four part harmony.
Originally published in the 40s, now back in print. I was introduced to this book nearly 60 years ago in high school choir. I'm delighted it's still in print.
Cons
Some of the more known songs have slightly different lyrics and it really bothers me. It’s not that the wording is worse per se, but they don't flow as well in the song.

Granted it doesnt have the secular christmas songs but its one to have for the works that are in it
It had started to fall apart with the pages tearing out easily so i thought i would see if i could buy a new copy
The quality of the paper is not as i remember it from then but then it was sixty years ago

I have loved this book of christmas carols for decades and was heartbroken when i discovered my copy had been inadvertently discarded

It does have a lot of the secular songs like jingle bells and others but it does not have the 20th c

The down sides are that the cover falls off easily due to two thin staples the dark green ink should really be black it doesnt lay flat when new and theres no spiral or comb bound large type edition for the piano players and those of us with older eyes
