I typically use this inside my 30L ocean bag since the ocean bag doesn't have any pockets. I have used it while hiking before too but it gets dirty really easily and the rain just soaks right through so I don't recommend storing any electronics outside of ziploc bags if there is a chance for rain or water.  Read Less

This is a great little day pack! I love that it rolls up into itself for easy packing and the inside pocket keeps your small valuables against your back and safe from wandering hands. I had no problems hiking around through Iceland, everything inside stayed dry in the rain and it was comfortable to wear all day. I easily fit a trench coat, a blanket scarf, a 20oz water bottle, my phone, a battery pack, my wallet, sunglasses, swim suit, quick dry towel, and snacks in there with room to spare. Love this bag, it's so lightweight that it's perfect for travel. The color is great for the beach, and I love that it has only three zippered compartments. With some backpacks I'm constantly searching for my stuff in the various pockets. This one has basically three compartments, the huge main one, a small compartment on the back that is perfect for headphones and various small things and the zippered compartment on the front of the main bag.  Read Less
