Pros

Chicago cutlery shear scissors are a great value for the price. The blade is slender and tapered so it makes peeling potatoes of their skins (without losing a bunch of potato) a snap.

The original served us 17 years or so, i am very happy with the durability. No rusting. Easy tosharpen. This little paring knife is my go-to.

Cons

The handle is not tightly attached to the (long) tang. The nives only have a partial tang vs a full tank. The edges are machine sharpened on only one side. Has to be sharpened frequently and even then it becomes dull very quickly.
