Finish is a bit rough and i had to file the crossmembers to get them to fit together

I received a yarn winder for christmas and did not have a swift

The user needs to learn the rate of winding to keep tension even and if one goes to quickly the yarn gets caught around the base

So after recently using my feet as my yarn swift and ending up with a tangled mess at the end that took me more than an hour to untangle i decided i really needed to break down and buy one of those big ugly yarn swifts

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Or maybe have one of those ugly umbrella swifts

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The mechanics of the design are simplistic yet they work wonderfully

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It turned easily and it didnt move around on the table top

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It seems like a sturdy product unlike the umbrella yarn swift i previously own which took up a lot of space needed to be clamped to a chairtable and was always coming loose and falling
