I exhaustively research everything i buy and these were the best pick in my opinion. Spend the money folks, it really is as good as advertised, if not more. The only question mark is longevity, but it seems well made.
After snow melt or a lot of rain, the pump gets a workout. Don't hesitate if you have a clunking pump - it's the check-valve. I have a very active sump pump and it's right below our bedroom.
Had a plumber install. Re-pressurizing the water line there were no leaks. Only regret is i wish would have done it 9 years ago. Hopefully it lasts awhile!
