Raymond says the bible teaches us who god is and who we are. Proper understanding of our sin leads to an abiding gratitude toward god for his mercy. One of the keys to contentment as raymond points out is understanding what we really deserve.
This book is absolutely foundational when it comes to understanding true christian contentment. His writing style makes good theology accessible to all. This book as brought both peace and encouragement to me.
