The inner lining is finished in a black velvet like material and it has foam padding underneath in the appropriate places

A fender strat fits very nicely but any guitar with a larger or more irregular shaped body might not fit

I tried to open it with the guitar still in and the tab came off hardly a fault of the case but i dont seem to be able to reattach it
