I ordered this door opener to see what chamberlain might be offering that makes this unit better than (or not as good as) the chamberlain pd512 1/2 chain drive garage door opener with 2 remote, royal blue i reviewed about two weeks ago.

Second, there seems to be a sense that screw drives don't work well in areas with extreme temperature change (though what is meant by extreme is up for debate).

You may, however, need hardware in addition/instead of the hardware supplied in the box (for instance, i had to purchase different hanging brackets to fit my application).
