Pros
It measures to the 1/50th of an inch and finds center, radius and diameter within 1-2 thousandths of accuracy! This tool finds it instantly and allows precise measurement of the point for each.
The powerful magnetic holds the ruler securely. Once positioned a hand tightened knob securely keeps the ruler from moving. Among other challenges, in making salt cellars, is finding the centerline for placement of the hinge and magnet closure.
Cons
This version of the tool is not as good as the woodpecker version.
The slot the ruler fits in is too wide for the ruler, allowing too much slop. The grove is to wide and the screws push the ruler to one side. This tool needs a much better ruler and a way to mechanically center it on the tool.

My only suggest would be to use knurled cap screws for the screws holding the ruler in place so you don’t need the hex key to do it

Let me tell you finding the center of a circle was at times very difficult

When this center finder arrived i thought i could just put it together mark my circle with the center and all would be fine

After i used it twice i found the lines do not intersect which is needed to find the center
