Not being a cellist all i can say about sound quality is that it make wonderful noise

My new cello teacher who plays in the symphony was quite impressed with the quality and sound

This is the 3rd cello weve bought for our family and the quality is great especially considering the low price

If you can get a cello that survives shipping do yourself a favor and make this alteration to the case

Packaging/appearance

The 500s strings were wound perfectly and the fine tuner was tightly affixed to the tailpiece

All cards down the cello arrived undamaged although the box was pretty well beat up with a few holes in it but all contents were in the box
