This is the best litter I've found for odour - we started off with a paper litter and then moved to another brand of clumping litter, which clumped wonderfully but made the whole flat smell awful, even with a hooded tray. This is 85% perfect - there is no odour (even with the hood off!), but if the cat pees near the side of the tray it does not form a ball so much as a paste that sticks to the tray and is hard to dig out. When it does clump, we have noticed that the clumps are a LOT bigger than with other brands. However, this is something we are more than willing to put up with given it has banished all odours!!   Read Less
