Pros

The retractable bristles (steel with dot on end) work fairly well in helping clean the brush. And chacha loves it.

The bristles are soft and have little nubs on them so it’s gentle on his skin. He loves it and enjoys getting groomed now which is something he used to hate. He starts purring the moment he sees it.

Brush gets undercoat and easily removes any excess hair. Works on domestic shorthair cats.

Cons

One side of the bristles stay up so i have to go in and individually pluck the hairs off that side. The teeth do no retract enough for the cat hair to be easily removed. The brissels are pretty thin and i worry that they will easily break.

The self-cleaning button on this brush is useless. Also it's actually hard to clean because holding the button is hard. My cat hates this one and doesn't have a problem with the other one.

My cats hate this brush. The second she sees it, she bolts in the opposite direction while giving me the whole gtf away from me look. Not gonna happen.
