It actually left small spots of adhesive on the screen which of course would have caused bubbles during installation

I was able to remove the spots of adhesive left behind with the alcohol wipe included for cleaning the screen prior to dust removal

Eventually the tape adhesive lost a bit of its stickiness and worked as it should picking up dust particles without leaving behind adhesive

In fact it lost so much stickiness it was unable to assist me in lifting the protector during the last step of the installation to allow removal of the dust particles that ended up trapped and causing bubbles

I was however able to use my fingernail to lift the screen protector during that step and i went ahead and used regular scotch tape to remove those stray dust particles worked perfectly including removing some dust that was actually stuck to underside of the screen protector

Its very nice screen protector if you know very well how to install it fits perfectly on my asus n550jk and reduced glare dramatically with a little unnoticeable reduce to screen clearance its tricky to install so i had to take it to a lab with no dust around and done it from the first try bubbles free

The quality is pretty good and the matte finish reduces glare without making the screen look less clear

My laptops touchscreen also works perfectly fine through the protector
