    I used 10x for coin clarification but i had to place the device over the coin and then place my eye almost on the viewer to focus.

    Use thin piece of paper or opaque plastic to diffuse the pixels or you will see them clearly as well.

    They are very handy every time i have to read a tiny part number--especially when smudged, faded, abraded, or printed on non-contrasting background.

    With the lumiloupe, i can see individual pixels on the screen and determine exactly where the focus is spot-on.
