Fortunately the warranty covered replacement but it is an inconvenience to find a repair company and haul it in

I sold it right after repair because the repair company said it was very common for the pump to go out in a year or so

There is no pouring lip on the recovery tank of the rug doctor so it is very messy to empty and clean out

If you dont have a long spray hose at your sink it is difficult to fill the rug doctor as the fill tank is near the bottom of the machine

There is no drain hose on the rug doctor so you cant get and residual fluid out
