Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

It melts at a very low temperature, which is always good for the longevity of your product/pcb. It also is a eutectic mix this means that it has a low melting point compared to other solders. Melts like butter.

Hakko makes a great rig for $100 on amazon. It's not the cheapest solder, but it's not that expensive. This stuff is awesome.

Cardas is a real player in the metallurgy game for a long time. It's far easier to work with than normal solder, saves me time in production.

It creates very clean, strong and shiny soldering points.

Cons

This solder behaves very much like lead-free solder. It even has trouble soaking into fluxed de-soldering braid. And the rosin core stinks.
