I didnt notice much give right away but im not it good enough shape yet to bench all 100lbs so it didnt and wont stay on so i cant really speak to it bowing in time confidently

Some of the benches were too simple and flimsy others too complicated and fancy

This bench machine its really good the bar its kind cheap and it doesnt weight a lot if you intermediate or advanced in lifting you probably should spent more money in better machine but for beginners its a good way to start it comes just as advertised 100 lbs of weights the bench and everything be aware tho the weight and bar come together and the machine comes separately so dont be mad if you just get the machine but no weights or bar overall its a good product and im happy with it
