The higher-priced canon s100 has the same lens issue. It is incredibly frustrating that i can't zoom in or out when taking photos and if i do, the camera shuts down. Got my money back, went to walmart, got the nikon with 12 optical zoom and saved $30.... Read More

The texture is almost prickly sharp to the touch. Instead of thinking about through the photo composure, i worry about the scene being out of focus. The old camera is much much sharper and clearer.

This one fails. Bad product. Untruth product description. A piece of *. Very disappointed by canon.

After several years, i don't even bother to bring the camera with me, it just sits on a shelf. Not worthy the money.

I just received my canon elph 300 camera from techrino and i am very satisfied with this product

The quality for taking pictures videos is really nice

3 inches and if more megapixels are crammed onto the same sized sensor the quality of the image suffers

The quality is so beyond the price that you are paying for

Some careful work with a slim knife blade removed the pressure so lens protective shutter works well now

I do shoot with a dslr when i feel the urge but more often i use a highend point and shoot the canon g7x
