Pros

The hood is thick and has a great matte finish/feel. It is not flimsy. The hood can be reversed or flipped around backwards to fit over the lens for travel and storage.

Cons

It fits loosely. Does not lock the hood when rotated to what seems like it will lock will rotate past the lock point not very good. The teeth on my lens' threads are narrower than the ones on this hood, so you can screw it on so that it stays in place... Read More

The lense hood says canon, it is not canon. The correct lens to get is ew-60c. The front of the lens rotates when you focus, so this lens hood rotates and may not protect from glare.

Is the technology just not perfected, or does nobody know how to use these things? I don't see this lasting much longer. Do not recommend.
