While the fabric cord and headset itself do seem bomb-proof, the whole apparatus is only as strong as its weakest leak. The cheap, easily bent straight stereo plug is a weak link indeed that defeats the purpose of the whole setup.

During the first week my son managed to breakoff the plug on the end of the cord and all i had to do was call califone a few days later we had a replacement cord and they didnt even ask me to return the broken cord
