    In my opinion the legs are too stiff for something like a go pro.

    I have used several different stands and what i found is that over time the tension starts to loosen up and the camera moves since all of the legs can't handle being at the tallest height for long periods of time.

    Another big drawback is that they have limited height which means i have to adjust everything to the camera instead of setting up and then getting the camera where i want it.
