Quality

I had the thunderbolt 2 version before this and was equally as happy with the quality

The auto out also works great and you an control the volume with the volume keys on your mac keyboard

However i was unable to the kensington sd4600p to work with the monitor without rebooting the mac every time i connected to the dock

I have zero confidence in caldigit customer support but the product works unlike the owc dock

This is about half the price of a thunderbolt dock

This is just the thing i need and it is working perfectly out of the box

I have been using this with a 15inch macbook touchbar for the past 6 months

Caldigit sales support were awesome and even pretested my unit with a dell p2715q display before shipping

At first i couldnt understand why these actions were happening on a brandnew memoryloaded i7 laptop

So right here and right now i finally can place a 5star stamp on this product
