Reading through the description and reviews i thought it would work but something to keep in mind is an average tablet or phone doesnt put out enough power to kickstart an external hardrive that doesnt have its own power source

This would work just fine for linking up a flash drive to a phone or tablet or for connecting adapters but may not work for your hardrive

When i dont have wifi i download programs onto a jump drive and then i can watch on phone with this adapter without filling up my phones memory
