The two male ends are marked with headphone and microphone icons the mic plug doesnt transmit sound the same way as the other

It worked fine when it had some sort of sound input but whenever there wasnt one for example turning off music it gave out unpleasant static noises that i decided not to use this cable

It works as decribed with one very minor drawback and be aware if you have one device muted or just turned down all the way the volume is about 13 of what it will be when the second device is turned off or disconnected
