Charging was fast with no heating up of the end connector that plugs into my ipad like the oem cable did.
Competitiveness
The cable is a little longer than the standard 3ft length and better built all around.
I also used it to recharge a large portable charger, and again, it charges it more quickly than a standard microusb.

My apple oem cable got damaged from constant use so this cable replaces it and the braided cover is better that the silicone oem cover in my opinion and the silicone on the oem cable broke at the lightning end and was exposing the internal wires.

If you have an apple device then this is a well-made and affordable non-oem cable that works flawlessly and doesn't give me the not supported message like some non-oem cables.
